There will be no bankruptcy of Social Security… do the research… sad but true… more right wing lies.
They estimated before Covid that SS would last at full benefits until I believe 2035 and then need to adjust for 20 million less in the work force and reduce benefits to 75% of your previous benefit. Hence we need more workers or immigrants to replace the 20 million less workers. Never did the government say that SS would go bankrupt.
Quit pushing scare tactic right wing lies. The information I remembered. Will change because of Covid and the impact to the over 65 population that has died. Clearly the numbers are not the same. Benefits could last longer at full rate? Most likely. The trust fund has the money and another lie is the government robbed the fund. The trust fund was never borrowed against or used for anything other than Social Security benefits. Fact!
