What a shame that bill brought together both parties for a tough mix but acceptable result that didn’t even get the consideration of a vote.
It goes to show you that Republican don’t want to fix the immigration and just want to use it as a heart string to pull on their base. Pretty sad the politics of that bill showed both sides at the time and applies equally now also.
I think it was a great bill. A compromise for sure.
