I've heard similar words about both pubbies and dimmys over the years, but it doesn't appear to me that either one of these two paragons of generosity are going anywhere. In fact, both seem to be doing quite well on a fattening diet of green that is produced by government printing presses running nonstop.

But, just for the heck of it, let's assume that you're right and the Turtle, Kevin, MTG, and all the west of them thar wascally wepublicans* soon go the way of the passenger pigeon. What do you think would happen then, Utopia would be a springin' up all over? I'm thinking that if the dimmys were completely in charge, what we would see is the whole damn country being transformed into a Seatle Summer of Love on the Streets of San Fransisco. **
