...Leo, no doubt this is the season to be far more than thankful, thanksgiving to some could be seen as a time to be thankful? Now I say that as a month before Christmas....why? Well it is like this GOD forced the Pilgrims to shipwreck at Plymouth Rock because it was foggy and the Pilgrims would have never landed in America. Now with that it was the Indians that saved the Pilgrims, shelter, food and spiritual needs. This was what we call Thanksgiving day. GOD knew the Pilgrims needed 30 days or so for the Pilgrims to learn to be thankful and to be ready for Christmas and really enjoy the GOD of their understanding or not understanding. The Indians traded their bows and arrows along with teaching them how to live off the land and in return the Pilgrims gave the Indians their firepower weapons to be far more successful in game hunting. The Pilgrims cut down several huge Pine trees for the Christmas celebration and it also appears that they also gave the Indians a sickness that killed 95 percent of the tribe so the remaining Indians killed all of the Pilgrims while they were sleeping. The Indians made heavy rope and was able to unload everything within the depths of the ship late January. They stacked all kinds of containers and also wood and steel framed chests. They opened all of the containers to see different items and even had Gold and Silver which they learned to melt down while sitting around the bonfires they would make each Friday night. They found a liquid on the ship and tasted it as it was the same taste that the Pilgrims shares 8 months earlier. Well, as you might guess the Indians got drunk and several were melting gold and silver coins as they sat around the fire pit. They used some of the old pine trees that night to really get the fire started quickly. All of a sudden the Indians heard snapping and popping and then realized it was just the pine popping from the fire. As the fire grew higher several loud pops and sparks flew onto several of the Indians sitting close to the fire they grabbed some of the fresh branches/brush that they were sitting on to cause the hot sparks to fly over in another direction and boom the sparks landed on one of the open containers of gunpowder and that date 8 months from Christmas is known as (pre-4 of July)
