I have no bone to pick with Dr. Kelly. He demonstrated to me that he was a compassionate guy. I even bought his first book. But in looking at his background, I do not see experience to match his job at Cytodyn. In fact, the whole crew under Nader seemed more like a pick-up street basketball game. Nice guys, but not a good match for the jobs they were given. In most cases, people were asked to learn on the job.
I'm sure Dr. Kelly will do well in wherever he goes and will probably be a lot happier, especially with severance pay. (Not trying to be snarky)
IMO, Cytodyn is making a lot of serious changes that should have a very positive impact on our future. My bet is that Kelly's replacement will be well matched to the job.
