Technically, there has been no reconciliation of the 1787 constitution since the civil war. Lincoln was assassinated before that happened witch moved us into the Act of 1871 and formation of the DC Corp. He put the Nation into Martial Law via Article 1 of the Constitution, essentially establishing "The Union" separately from the Confederacy...aka "Federalization". When Buckner asked for terms, Grant replied, “No terms except an unconditional and immediate surrender can be accepted.” . The Confederacy then became Federalized also upon surrender.
So, tearing up the Constitution?... haven't operated under the 1787 constitution since before the Civil War. Gone from one Martial Law or emergency to the next under the organic 1871 Corporate Constitution...which eliminated state sovereignty under federalization....aka The Democracy always talked about.
The pivotal point however was the Capture of the Title 4 flag in 1999. The Matrix was changed "Grammer". This gave us 9-11 and a Coup d'état....and the Patriot Act. aka another Emergency and Martial Law. 2016 with the election of Trump. There was a reversal. Presently there is no operational Constitution as Trump used his Artical I powers as President and as Lincoln did.

But then again there is another divide. Those that are Roman Catholic and those that are American Catholic that don't bow a knee to Rome.
