Runway to move product is long…and we are not full tanks on lift-off. I’m sure Cyrus has a plan for that, maybe we hear more at the ASM.
I realize some on this board have moved on from Covid19 and it is clearly not on the company priority roadmap, but…it occurred to me with China moving off the zero Covid policy the genie is out of the bottle and they will be facing a monster in the upcoming year. The number crunchers are expecting 20,000 deaths per day by March among three of the major cities…one million deaths on the horizon. A critical covid19 trial already written could probably enroll in a couple days with the wave expected. A quick readout on large numbers and approval would be a quick path to revenue…fuel to lift today’s slide deck off the runway sooner. China needs to come out of lockdown and restart their economic engine…Apple is threatening to move manufacturing away for lack of product. China’s debt is over 300% of GDP…need workers on the production line, not idled at home or worse, in the hospital. Just thinking out loud; nothing will happen but the opportunity would be a win win. China gets to open up the economy with impunity, something we could have done early on if Leronlimab were allowed to compete effectively for patients in their severe/critical study.
Looking for guidance from Cyrus on where all that Jet A fuel is going to come from…I’m tapped out.
