New test can differentiate between Alz and other causes of dementia with 99% accuracy, inventor claims:
I hope this actually works. I think that one of the problems with Alz research is that often people who have OTHER dementia are treated with experimental drugs, which then work only on a subset of clinical trial participants -- that subset being either people with Alz, or maybe people with some other syndrome that looks like Alz.
