I remember years ago when I worked for USFWS, our director, a notable fish disease expert, was invited on a junket to the old Soviet Union to inspect their fisheries program. On a tour of one lab, he took note that they had assembled every piece of glassware, surgical equipment, and metering device they could assemble, and arranged them in the room in a way to demonstrate the sophistication of their laboratory and its employees. He showed us what film they were allowed to take and laughed at the sophomoric staging which most high school kids would see as a C- class project. Just saying. Good luck.
