Treaty Energy Corporation has broken ground on San Juan #3 in Belize.
At 3:30pm (CDT) on March 12, 2013, Treaty Energy Corporation broke ground on San Juan #3 in Belize and set conductor pipe in place. Setting conductor pipe is the first step in the drilling procedure and will provide stability for the entirety of the operation.
As announced on March 6, 2013, TECO’s exploratory drilling schedule is as follows:
- TECO will drill to 500ft and will put into place 8’ 5/8” surface casing.
- After reaching 500ft, the drill will then drill to 800ft and 1200ft testing at each spot to determine the presence of oil in the well. TECO believes that the two zones are likely pay zones.
- After reaching 1200ft and testing, TECO can drill up to a 3000ft depth.
TECO previously released its 2013 Oil and Gas Development Plans to investors and is available for download from TECO's website.
TECO is committed to providing information regarding the project to our investors and looks forward to updating its shareholders throughout the drilling process.
