No, you don't 'get it'. The people crying 'my body my choice' about the Covid vax were going against a public health measure that affected a large % of the population.
Roe was settled law, so testified to by every lying GOP SCOTUS appointee.
See what happened to Dr. OZ who wanted 'local officials' to weigh in a doctor/patient matter? He had his snake oil pushing ass handed to him.
