Hold on there about turkeys. WILD turkeys are extremely intelligent animals. Here's what Ben Franklin had to say about them:

Now, domesticated turkeys are another matter. They were bred to have huge "white meat" to the point that they are so large they can hardly stand up when they reach full growth, and they are so dumb that if one feels a raindrop on its head, it may look up -- with its mouth open -- and drown because the rain goes down its throat and it is too stupid to close its mouth and look down. This is well documented (I sure couldn't make up something as unbelievable as this.)

Does the description of the eagle that Ben Franklin made sound like, for instance, hedge fund people and other bashers? I'm going to name the next eagle that I see "Adam."
