I've been on Twitter all day arguing with morons who are pushing conspiracy theories about Paul Pelosi.
They have it in their minds that this was no attack, per se, but a lover's quarrel gone wrong.
I asked why was the window the perp bashed all to hell to gain entry destroyed? Their answer: it was broken from the inside out.
I posted several videos and news stories, and all these jackasses can rebut with are poorly photoshopped memes.
They have it in their heads that it was the capitol police who responded, as they wanted to destroy/preserve evidence at Nancy's order.
I responded that it was the local police who responded as they were sent by the 911 operator. I even posted videos and links of the SF Police press conference corroborating that. To no avail, however.
When people are hell bent on believing the demons circling in their heads, no amount of facts or logic matter.
I see why they were so easily duped by Trump's many, many lies.
I had to mute the conversations because I refuse to respond to any more reply notifications. They made my head hurt. I'm done.

Democratic parents all passed. Siblings all MAGAts (racist/misogynist). Decided to back off except sending the odd birthday wishes or x-mas card.
I'm cordial - like with work acquaintances. That's it. It's keeping them at an emotional distance - barely close enough they know I'm OK and vice versa but no 'family' time on social media or in person. The assholes are all living on their social security while they vote for mine to be cut or abolished. "oh but we love you!"
NOBODY who 'loves me' votes for me to be DESTITUTE in retirement after THEY got their full benefits. They're of the "I got mine fuck you" crowd.
