7 years is impressive - I'm in for 6. I certainly never expected that period of time - and To say it's been a wild ride would be the understatement of the decade. much can be chalked up to my ignorance of being a 1st time pre-revenue biotech investor.
I agree - the new team is extremely solid - light years ahead of what we've had historically. I originally thought we needed some "world class" leader. But i don't really think that's the case. All we really need is solid, methodical, intelligent and sober - and I think Cyrus checks all of those.
Put another way, we're all here because we believe this drug has the potential to generate significant revenue, and translate into a massive multiple on our investment. We never needed a great salesman to make that translation of value - just someone who could do the basic blocking and tackling to create rock solid trial results, and command some credibility with the scientific community. NP couldn't do that - but i think Cyrus is just the man for the job.
i no longer make any predictions or have any idea where the SP will go. But i have a very high degree of confidence that it is meaningfully higher next year based on the basic blocking and tackling we'll see from Cyrus.
i plan to chill out and enjoy the holidays regardless of news, etc. - sights set on 2023. and if something big hits in 2022, it will be an extra Merry Christmas.
