A few of the TikTok articles were posted here. Maybe this one I don't remember as this story was all over the internet and written many ways
TikTok said to be launching live shopping in the US

"TikTok is hunting for partners to launch its live shopping offering in the U.S. as it is looking to outsource operations for these features."
"The report noted that TikTok and TalkShopLive — which raised $6 million in a seed extension round last year — haven’t finalized any terms . So there is little information about when the shopping feature will go live."

Oh, it's not a done deal. Actually from the sound of this one, far from it.
What's interesting is... if TalkShopLive is in the hunt, it's not often you see these deal leaked. Or was it leaked?
If you remember, both TikTok and Meta announced almost at the same time they weren't going to pursue continuing developing Live Streaming Shopping internally.
Remember some of my Skids customers saying...
that's because there is no money in it Blah Blah Blah and a bunch of other idiotic opinions based on their sole experience of being kicked out of the work force dozens of years ago and having to look up how to spell 'technology'.
So we've established TikTok is very interested in Live Streaming Shopping but realized it's better to outsource than trying to do it in house. Lot of reason why that would be better for them.
The question you may want to ask is...
If the bedwetters on iSkids were 1000% wrong again about TikTok, what about Meta?
A couple of things to think about.
It's clear Verb has the best platform out there, much better than ShopTalkLive or was it TalkShopLive. Not sure how anyone can dispute this that actually knows technology and knows how to code more than 1000 lines.
Does TikTok hitch up their wagon with ShopTalkLive or hold out for Verb?
If TikTok choses ShopTalkLive, where will Meta end of if they want to continue Live shopping? Certainly they can't go with ShopTalkLive
Meta's virtual world is collapsing. It will be interesting who throws them a life ring.

If Verb signed a deal with TicTok, Meta, Twitter, etc., some would still be complaining but it would be good for Skids either way
