Do your own DD, here is mine.
UEEC is awaiting Class III FDA approval for its signature product: HemoStyp Hemostatic Gauze. The company is currently preparing their reply to the most recent FDA request of production data and documentation of
some aspect(s) of the production process.
The product is a surgical gauze made up of all-natural Neutralized Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose. Basically, the product is made 100% from cellulose (plants) and contains no animal by-products or synthetics.
Only J&J's Surgicle has been compared to UEEC product.
I believe the pps runs up short term to hopefully and FDA device III approval!
The greater potential for IMO lies with hemostyp gel and foaming applications soon to be in development research.
