I would only say that many of the shares that were recently registered were acquired at prices at or below the current price of 40 cents.
Many are also warrants, some of which can be exercised on a cashless basis, and others which would require some exercise proceeds to go to Cytodyn.
A large chunk were commissions to Paulson, which they may feel are at a "zero basis."
If folks are not seeing short term catalysts for the price, some may decide to sell now and some will decide to hold. Not a whole lot different than any other shareholder.
Of course, Welch has a unique view, and I don't have an informed idea what his thoughts and plans are.
