Let's remember -- their CEO personally promised Nader he'd "look into it" and then did nothing. Presumably he actually DID look into it.
Let's also remember that TWO of NSF's senior executives were appointed to high positions at Amarex, in which they certainly would know AND CONTROL what Amarex did.
They are not just now discovering malfeasance. They are just now discovering that the new management of CYDY, aided greatly by Sidley-Austin, is not going to roll over and play dead.
If CYDY could be driven into bankruptcy, NSF/Amarex wouldn't have to worry, would they? I don't think it's necessary to be a conspiracy theorist to wonder exactly how far NSF would go to try to push CYDY there, and to wonder if they have links with whatever hedge fund is responsible for some of the strange trading activity we've seen.
Or maybe it does. Although most conspiracy theories are stupid, some of them are for real.
