I wish they were still pursuing Long Covid. The trial would be faster than either NASH or cancer. There are an overwhelming number of available patients. The protocol could be tailored based on the previous trial for best outcome. Since it doesn't involve mortality it could be set at one year. With the similar symptomology the FDA ME/CFS guidelines could be used for designing the protocol. Approval means owning the entire market and the cash flow could be used to start trials in multiple indications.
The one downside is that it's a new disease and the FDA seems confused. Since the goal is alleviation of symptoms if that's shown across multiple serious symptoms than the FDA has no excuse not to approve.
