President Biden's latest gaffe was quite the doozy!
While reading remarks during a White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health, Biden asked if the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) was in attendance.
President Biden asked for the late Rep. Jackie Walorski to identify herself at a Washington event Wednesday, forgetting that the Indiana Republican died in a car crash last month.
Biden made the embarrassing error while thanking bipartisan members of Congress at a nutrition event near the White House.
Walorski was tragically killed in a car crash on August 3rd.
"I want to thank all of you here, including bipartisan elected officials like Rep. McGovern, Sen. Braun, Sen. Booker, Rep. — Jackie, are you here?" Biden said. "Where's Jackie? I thought she was going to be here — to help make this a reality."
“Jill and I are shocked and saddened by the death of Congresswoman Jackie Walorski of Indiana along with two members of her staff in a car accident today in Indiana,” Biden said at the time.
President Biden forgot that Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) died in a car crash in August, seeking her out in the audience:
"Jackie, are you here? Where's Jackie? She must not be here."
