It is a little funny but I did submit my list of questions for the CC yesterday morning and the first question I had was when are they taking down the blue banner on our website. I don't think me asking this reminded cytodyn website manager to get that done. I am sure taking that banner down was ok'd by the FDA as much as putting it up was required by the FDA.
What it also means is that they has been communication with the FDA and results of those discussions got results. we are not getting a "waiting to meet with the FDA" comment tomorrow. I also feel strongly the blue banner was not a higher priority than the BLA and the clinical hold for Cytodyn. I think more progress was made than just an ok to remove the banner. The FDA would not ok that unless they saw changes that made them comfortable with what cytodyn is doing.
I have said this before, but I feel the FDA was really tired of getting crap work from Amarex and seeing Nader very publicly project huge positive actions by the FDA. The FDA must like the new controlled silence Cytodyn is consistant with now. I would think the FDA now looks at Cytodyn as a respected partner in this process and will resume being on our side now that we are on their side.
