Former Democrat lawmaker pleads guilty to voter fraud
June 10, 2022

Ever since the “free and fair” 2020 election, Americans have heard again and again from top Democrats and their allies in the media that voter fraud is virtually non-existent.

So much for that. A former Pennsylvania congressman and top Democrat, Ozzie Myers, has just pleaded guilty to ballot stuffing in several elections in Philadelphia, Fox News reported.

Democrat pleads guilty to voter fraud!

Myers, 79, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deprive voters of civil rights, bribery, obstruction of justice, falsification of voting records, and conspiring to illegally vote in a federal election, the Justice Department announced Monday.

He is accused of ballot stuffing for Democratic candidates in the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 Pennsylvania elections. Myers collaborated with crooked election judges in South Philadelphia, Domenick J. Demuro and Marie Beren. Both have pleaded guilty for their roles in Myers’ schemes.

Prosecutors say that Myers paid Demuro up to $5,000 per election to “ring up” fake votes on voting machines, and then certify the results as legitimate, in a scheme that lasted years.

Myers was being paid by judicial candidates to carry out the fraud, and Myers would pass some of the proceeds along to Demuro. Myers also favored certain candidates for state, local, and federal office for his own reasons, the DOJ said.

Another scam that Myers ran with Beren provides some fascinating insight into how election fraudsters hide their fraud.

Fraud just a “conspiracy?”

The scheme went like this: on Election Day, Myers would drive Beren to the polling place and tell her which candidates Myers wanted to win.

Beren would cast fake votes for those candidates on behalf of voters who were not present. She would also advise actual, in-person voters to support Myers’ candidates.

But here’s the interesting part: Myers would advise Beren to cast fewer fake votes if the turnout of “legit,” or actual voters, was high. He also would have Beren alternate her fake votes between different candidates he supported to avoid making the fraud too obvious: if Myers felt his top choice was comfortably ahead, he would have Beren “throw support” behind another one of his preferred candidates.

After she was done casting phony votes, Beren would falsify the polling books to match the false votes cast, and then certify the results. Voila.

The local U.S. Attorney, Jennifer Arbittier Williams, said that “voting is the cornerstone of our democracy” and that “even one” illegal vote can damage faith in the system.

Is it still acceptable to say such truths out loud? After all, voter fraud is just a conspiracy theory, right?
