Volker was pro-active in raising rates to 20% to fight inflation back in 1980. To contrast that Powell is at 3.25-3.5% & inflation as calculated back in 1982 is above 20%. No Country has ever been able to reign in inflation once they have raced above 20% YOY. The result is a collapsed currency & an economy in depression! FREE
