Only an idiot refuses to accept facts. Tracking by cell phone has been around for 20 years.
The FBI tracked every single cell phone that was carried in the Capitol.
Not only did they get a list of suspects, they also get a list of witnesses, many of whom likely took video that could be subpoenaed.
