New rapid test for Parkinson's, skin swab to pick up certain compounds that Parkinson's patients produce.

This means that they can verify that someone has Parkinson's before they develop all the characteristic symptoms -- so companies like AVXL will be able to try their drug interventions at a very early stage when said interventions might be most effective.
Truly great news. Now if only they could find a similar test for Alzheimer's.....
