Many business models have limited target markets. Quantum dots have virtually an unlimited amount of target markets. It seems to have been difficult for QTMM to concentrate on which markets it wants to pursue but now has narrowed it down to three: Solar, Medical devises, and QR/barcodes. All good choices. But as I stated, the options are virtually unlimited. My point is, if QTMM becomes successful on any of the three, they will have the ability to expand to many other markets. Their options to grow and vertically/horizontally integrate could be HUGE. I think we all see this subliminally and that is what makes it so interesting and exciting. When PASACA got involved, I thought that was going to be the beginning and am having hard time understanding why with their help, this has not already taken off. I justify it in my mind that, “I just don’t understand how difficult it is to get a business like this up and running well.” But then I think, when you have a product this good as Steve touted in the 2013 video with Tetrapod-quantum dots having the ability to vastly increase the efficiently at a lower cost of solar panels, it makes me have my doubts and wonder what has gone wrong. In 2013 to have a product that vastly increases the efficiently of solar panels at a lower cost, that’s big and should have been an easy sell 9 years ago. Instead, it seems, tetrapod quantum dots faded into the past as well as several (many) other QTMM ventures. Again, makes me wonder?? Enough of my ramblings.
