The Squad had a field trip this week.
And, if I sound sarcastic and just a bit pissy, it is because I am.
This was nothing more than a selfish headline grab by members of Congress that should be in Congress and doing something rather than grandstanding with these idiotic protests that are actually against the law.
If AOC wants to protest at the Supreme Court, she actually needs to be treated like a criminal, then banned from Congress for a federal offense.
They want to play games, let’s play games.
So, if you want to know what has me so perturbed, it is this idiotic scene of AOC pretending that she is in cuffs.
You read that right… even though the officer was merely escorting her out of the area for her fake arrest, of which no charges will ever be filed, she had her hands behind her back and crossed as though she was in cuffs…

She, of course, will milk this for everything it is worth and tell us how horrible she was treated, which was the point of one of the tweets after it happened…

Ma'am, you didn't go to prison
AOC: I still experienced what it was like to be arrested

AOC: I had handcuffs on

I love how AOC goes from pretending she's handcuffed to raising her first at the 10-second mark as if she's fighting the power (even though she *is* someone in power) and then back to pretending to have cuffs on

The news, Democrats, Congress as a whole… they all nothing more than a drama TV show. While they all play their silly games, the American people are getting crushed, and they simply do not care as long as there is a headline in it for them.
