No doubt we contribute to global warming but that is where the planet is headed and it will clean it self as it has millions or years ago. The Bible is a history of what, a story to behold or fear? Over and over history will be and history plays out with man trying to control something that he can't sincerely grasp. Others from thousands of years ago have used various religious structures to control people. Those without knowledge might feel the only way is to pray to make thing get better to make things go away and then in a heartbeat raise their fist to the sky and curse the GOD of their understanding or rather of their not understanding. To control the mass one must control fear which is a double edge sword but few will venture through that and to think that it is only in their head... from thousands of years of conditioning.
* Look at it this way....when a woman sees a bat what does she think? a tiny flying thing or an old cave dweller with a huge club and being dragged by hair long hair.
I see that it is time for another cup of coffee and another chocolate/glazed doughnut.
