Sadly, the education system is broken...
Due to changes over the last 40 years...
Educational structure in my mind should be K through 10th grade. Then 2 years of finishing school at a junior college as trades are no longer taught in HS. This would then at 17 or 18 give further direction into student interests which would extend into either 2 more years of trade school at a junior college or a more formal education at a university for the Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher, CEO type.
Schools are $$$ oriented and not jobs oriented... aka here is your diploma don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out. Good luck ...go flip burgers at Mc D. Oh, and by the way here is your bill.
