I see people (usually on YMB) often drop these dates for study completion out there as if there’s going to be something occurring as a result. I’m almost certain that what they’re referencing is the clinical trials dot gov date for the trial completion. Which is often a generous date given early on. An estimate. We don’t necessarily have any additional data and may or may not ever have any. In other words, we should pay attention to PRs that announce trials have started, last patient has been dosed, top line results by X, and that’s about it. Those tell us everything we need to know.
In the case of this trial, have we not already been given the results and then a muddled response as to whether or not they could find out if people are still alive? I don’t remember any definitive statement that management was going to be able to deliver on additional data.
