Secret Service Made An Announcement, Americans Enr

The Secret Service cracked down hard. An enraging number of greedy and unscrupulous Americans thought they could pick Uncle Sam’s pocket and get away with it.
The fraud and abuse was so rampant that almost $100 billion vanished, at least temporarily.
Secret Service seized billions
Congress passed a whole slew of COVID-19 relief programs meant to help those “who lost their jobs during the pandemic.” The Secret Service just announced that they know almost “$100 billion has been stolen.” They want it back.
All the facts and figures were collected from their own in-house case data combined with “data collected by the Department of Labor and the Small Business Administration.”
National pandemic fraud recovery coordinator Roy Dotson told reporters the Secret Service knows exactly what tempted the criminals.
The “amount stolen from the total $3.4 trillion in pandemic benefits approved by Congress” clearly shows the experts that “the sheer size of the pot is enticing to the criminals.” Most of the cash was swiped “through unemployment fraud.”
The facts and figures from the Labor Department “show about $87 billion in unemployment benefits could have been paid wrongly, mostly because of fraud.”
Already, the Secret Service has clawed back “$1.2 billion in the course of its investigations into unemployment insurance and loan fraud.”
On top of that, they “returned more than $2.3 billion in stolen funds by working with financial partners and states to reverse transactions.” Along the way they opened “more than 900 active criminal investigations into pandemic fraud.” They come from every state and “100 people have been arrested so far.”
With covid relief fraud the latest trendy fashion, the Ministry of Justice is in on the Secret Service investigation too. Merrick Garland is desperately trying to find something for Christopher Wray to do besides hatching coup plots and engineering false-flag insurrections.
The DOJ claims their “fraud division has prosecuted over 150 defendants in more than 95 criminal cases.” Some speculate that they’re starting with the republican registered ones first, whenever they think they can get away with it.
As part of their efforts, independent from the Secret Service, the Feds “seized over $75 million in cash proceeds derived from fraudulently obtained Paycheck Protection Program funds, as well as numerous real estate properties and luxury items purchased with money stolen from the PPP.”
Not only was the program a “major component of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act,” it was the most easily plundered pile of money.
The program was intended to “provide $349 billion in interest-free loans to small businesses so that they could keep paying their workers while coronavirus lockdowns were in effect.” According to the Secret Service, they had to adapt to a rapidly changing situation.
“Early in the pandemic there was an emphasis on cracking down on personal protective equipment fraud. Now the priority for authorities is ending pandemic relief fraud, which has exploded.” They don’t think they can stop it, Dotson admits. But, they “can definitely prosecute those that need to be prosecuted and we can do our best to recover as much fraudulent pandemic funds that we can.”
