article in the WSJ today about Merck buying Seagen - for $40 billion. Talking about how Seagen's cancer therapies can be used in conjunction with Keytruda (hello, sound familiar?).
I get it - we don't have approval, have this clinical hold, etc. But how are we still sitting at a 500MM market cap? All of these BPs are desperate for new drugs - and ours has multiple indications in massive markets.
I just don't see how someone hasn't stepped up and said "we need to get ahead of the competition - we'll take a leap here and partner, or buy you" Or even some middle market hedge fund seeing the chasm between our current and potential value - and putting several billion to work.
Ok, enough of my rant.
