In the past, the pre-revenue, small company investments that i have made over the years have been private. The daily ups and downs are hidden from view - and you basically get a quarterly update on the company. I've had some that succeeded and some that failed - but you're not riding the daily emotional roller-coaster. With CYDY, while i've tried my best to not watch it - i can't help myself, so i'm either super excited and wondering "what's going on?" when it has a big up day, or bummed out and wondering "what happened" on a big down day. and even on days when i manage not to watch, i get 5 texts from my friends who i recommended it to - who somehow think i know what drove the rise or decline. Often nothing happened at all in either case.
i firmly believe we will get there on this investment - but it's been a rough ride as a long-term shareholder, to put it lightly Those of us who have held on deserve to make some serious money. and i know this - i sure as hell will never again own a publicly traded pre-revenue biotech on the OTC.
