Hypocrisy and bias. Cytodyn certainly has experienced its share of these unfair experiences. We can all cite endless examples of unfair FDA, short activity, big pharma, politicians, etc., etc.
Unfortunately, and in spite of what we were told when we were kids, life itself is not fair. Certainly our government is not fair. The SEC is not fair.
I like the Marine Corps motto: Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome. If we are in an unfair environment, we need to figure out how we can survive in that environment. I'm not suggesting we stoop to dishonest strategy to win but figure out what can tip the scales in our favor. Could we partner with an evil BP? Could we hire some former FDA folks? Could we retain a lobbyist?
When we purchased shares in a biopharma stock, we entered onto the opponent's home field. we have to play by their rules, no matter the "fairness".
One of the most difficult challenges I had as a dad was to teach my kids how to live in an "unfair" world. You, know, the world where the coaches' kid always gets to pitch.
