Some vaccines are really good and have 90+% effectiveness at total prevention. Others like Covid may not have prevention as good as 90% but many people have no reaction or symptoms after being vaxxed for Covid. Everyone benefits from the reduced impact of Covid when they have been vaxxed. All immune systems are different and so are the impact to them. The recognition of invading antibodies is what the Covid vaccine accomplishes. This is why some get hit harder than others based on the personal immune responses. The Covid vaccine essentially gives our immune system recognition of an invading antibody molecules are starting. Covid is real sneaky and fools our immune response until it is too late for some.
