Fox News’ Peter Doocy then hit Jean-Pierre, who refused to talk about it.
Here is that exchange…
After Doocy, Sebastian Smith of Agence France-Press (AFP) tried to get an answer.
He asked, “Is [Biden] confident that he has a plan to address the way that a lot of Americans — maybe even a very large number of Americans — are being told and may now believe that Donald Trump is being persecuted, that the deep state is coming after you, that the IRS and the FBI and corrupt?
“This is really believed, apparently. by really a lot of people.
“He’s the leader of the whole country, as he often says, does he have a handle on this?”
Again, Jean-Pierre deflected, stating, “Your question is still asking me to comment on what’s happening… I’m going to stick to what I’ve been saying… This is a criminal investigation that’s independent to the DOJ and we leave any inquiry, any questions about what is happening to the Department of Justice.”
They literally broke into the home of a former president, rummaged through his office, his wife’s closets, broke into his safe, removed 12 boxes, and they think the American people are going to sit idly by and allow this to happen?
You realize what they want, right?
My guess is that they are hoping Trump supporters lose their minds and start rioting.
To that point, the White House has urged Trump supporters to remain calm while this all plays out just to cover all the bases.
I would advise FBI Director Christopher Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland, or Joe Biden to make a statement very soon, because I do not see how this can be perceived as anything but the weaponization of the FBI against a political opponent unless they clear this up immediately by telling us all what is going on.
This entire country is already on age, like a rubber band wound to the point of breaking, and they are playing games like this.
