FDA continues protecting you (from being healthy), follow-up to my first post about how FDA allowed carcinogens in a Merck drug because it is a 10 billion dollar a year moneymaker for Merck.

Now this: they refuse to lift a clinical hold on a small company that is attempting to treat life-threatening c. difficile infections -- seemingly successfully, as per European clinical trials -- with capsules of various beneficial bacteria.

But, after a YEAR, the FDA says their questions have been answered, but, ya know, they still won't lift the clinical hold.
