That’s a great family connections story. I have an almost identical one, as it turns out.
There’s a winery that shares my family’s last name, which prompted my brother to ask my dad if there was any way we were connected. His response was, “your great great great grandmother was stoned to death for stealing chickens, so I don’t think we come from money”.
Some day soon my family, which has carried on the tradition, will hit it big on CYDY and no longer need to steal chickens. We’ll only steal them for sport from then on out.
