Once it's approved for orphan drug all other indications will be much more easily approved as long as population use shows continued safety. They will still have to conduct studies for other indications to prove efficacy (and continued safety) - but fda reviews will be so easy in comparison to...well...almost all fda reviews. The orphan designation, if granted, would be for retinoblastoma only. But that will grease the wheels for other indications.
