The Chinese are as patience as saints, they will work on something for years. With all eyes on Taiwan the Chinese will slip in somewhere else.

Whereas once Israel was an American strategic asset it has now become a strategic liability

I maybe wrong, China is in no position to confront the West until it has decoupled it's economy from the West, then the Chinese will worry about face.

part of me agrees but part of me wonders if the left really believes their own bs. I have noticed many of my left acquaintences act tough and pontificate on how ukraine is like WW2 and they are saving democracy...I tell them it seems it is more like Vietnam and weren't you against that?
