We have just one. He is 11 years old and is a collector - coins, PEZ dispensers, cars from the Movie Pixar Cars (some of them are worth good money). I wish I was worth 1/10 of what he is worth when I was his age. In a few years, I will introduce stock investing to him. I am in my late 50s and worry about the children today. Most will not have the life style many of us have enjoyed with the economy struggling and the national debt being so high.
I want him to know what hard work is but I also want him not to have to worry about finances.
