Sin is used to control emotion and movements of humans for thousands of years. Once one understands this they still must be able to grow beyond that emotional prison to escape and start their journey to the promised land within themselves. It is then they will finally meet GOD of their understanding.
Note: I did not include the GOD of their NOT understanding for a clear reason plus those that truly understand know they have had the GOD gene forever but to "truly believe" that is the "greatest gift from GOD".
