The trademarks were applied for in 2016 before Trump became President on January 20, 2017.
Many of the trademarks were granted AFTER Ivanka began shutting down her business.
The fact remains that Ivanka was dealing with her own private company, not corrupt energy companies in China, Ukraine, Russia, Mexico, etc. She didn't need her daddy to meet with any other company executives and lie about it.
There is NO proof Ivanka ever used those trademarks but they would come in handy if she decided to reopen her company.
