The Chaos of Trumpism. Millions of Americans vote
Post# of 123718
Millions of Americans voted for Trump in 2016 because they rejected what they saw as remote political elites and global trade deals that cost them jobs and saw him as a guarantor of a mainly White Nationalist conservative American culture they saw threatened by rapid social change and a fast-diversifying nation. Yet Trump's presidency, and the manner of his leaving it, poses a question that goes beyond legitimate ideological struggles that have long divided Americans:
What are the implications for the nation of a potential presidential candidate who was willing to destroy American democracy to stay in power and to crush the will of a majority of voters who wanted him gone?
81000000 voters wanted him gone.....
But this time, the chaos is in the GOP!!! They are trying to distance themselves from the "trump train" that has derailed and is smoldering in a pile of bent steel.
Everybody is hip to the trump grifter/scam fund raising ploy to avoid jail.
No news there, but there is a new grifter/scamster in Florida.
How will the Grand OLE Potty tell "new scammers to be" that they can not challenge "The SCAMMER"!!!
With folks wanting to run against the Dumpster, we have a new "Replacement Theory". Let's replace the trumpster with "DEATHSANTIS".....
That will fail because deathsantis is NOT TRUMP! Not really white....
As they and others split the vote, the Grand Ole POTTY has to make some decisions.
None of them good for their failing agenda that will piss off Everybody!
The Republican Party has suffered a heavy loss of support from senior voters in recent months, a key demographic for the party in November's midterms and for Donald Trump's presidential ambitions, according to polls.
A recent survey conducted by CNN and the research firm SSRS found that 47 percent of those aged 65 and over said they would vote for a GOP candidate if the midterm congressional election for their district were held "today," with slightly more people aged 65 and over saying they would vote for a Democratic candidate (49 percent).
This is a major turnaround from May, when a previous CNN/SSRS poll found that nearly two-thirds of those aged 65 and over (62 percent) said they would back a Republican candidate in the midterms, compared to just 37 % would back the GOP now!
So get ready....
get the popcorn going...
