Leronlimab is also almost certainly the answer to modulating the immune response downstream of a bone marrow transplant; graft vs host disease is a real and common occurrence currently requiring immunosuppressive drugs. Still, your point is well taken, no doctor is going to reach for a BMT to cure HIV…too risky, also expensive @ about $200k. Far better to reach for Leronlimab directly with HIV.
