It shows the history of interactions between the holistic branch of medicine and the cut/burn/poison folks...in the 19th century both types of medicine lived side by side, in concert. But early in the twentieth century big money took over the latter form of medicine and, to maximize profits, first demonized then criminalized the holistic branch.
