A mix of technicals, yesterday since around 1:45pm a lot of the trades were sizable and crossing the spread taking out the offers w/ bids replacing higher immediately, today is a continuation of that (though to be fair, it has faded quickly, but will see what 4pm tells us).
The catalyst?
-New President - check
-Better PR's - check
-Brand / Image cleanup slowly but surely - check
-Well received presentations at decent conferences based on science - check
-NIH grant / on radar despite FDA penalty box/face slaps in past - check
-Funding (via high probability of newly auth. shares soon) sufficient - check
-Mgmt acknowledgement re: shareholder value creation - check
-Solid additions to board the past 3-6 months - check
-Failure of alternative drugs while we are still standing - check
