Sean - I was just about to post something similar re: the shareholder value comments by both Tanya & Cyrus. From the portfolio managers & analysts I've interacted with over the years, management's focus on shareholder value creation is definitely a checkbox when analyzing a potential investment. The next step would be insider purchases during the applicable open windows assuming no insider information restrictions - it'd show even more alignment w/ investors.
Not that technicals really apply to this stock (yet), but it's been making higher lows the past 1-2 months and more recently the past few weeks (38c on 5th/6th, then 39c the past 2 days). The "potential energy" from this consolidation is getting to be tangible.
Separately, I've been a big fan of the efforts management has made to slowly cleanup their image by keeping a very straight and narrow path without all the hype and noise that we were used to. These recent several PR's have been very well written & buttoned up. No ammo being given to the bashers who have to dig deeper & deeper into history to get their $5 posts clicked on.
I feel like I'm forgetting something though....tip of my tongue....oh yea, right, they also have a miracle drug. That's an important checkbox too.
