White House Refuses To Answer Questions About Hunt

President Joe Biden has repeatedly denied having conversations with his son, Hunter Biden, about his foreign business deals.
Nevertheless, the Daily Mail published an exposé in late June detailing a 2018 voicemail recently discovered on the younger Biden’s laptop discussing a New York Times article about his dealings with a now-defunct Chinese energy company. The White House recently refused to respond to questions about the message.
On June 5, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the voicemail during her daily press briefing.
“Why is there a voicemail of Biden talking to his son… if he’s never spoken to Hunter about his overseas business dealings? ” Doocy inquired.
After hemming and hawing for a couple of minutes, Jean-Pierre proclaimed that she wouldn’t discuss “alleged materials” from Hunter Biden’s laptop.
“It’s not happening,” she eventually muttered in an apparent effort to shut down further conversation on the topic.
However, a few minutes later, RealClearPolitics reporter Philip Wegmann followed up, asking Jean-Pierre why she dismissed Doocy’s question considering President Biden’s promise to return transparency to the White House.
Jean-Pierre responded that she “cannot comment” on anything regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop and referred Wegmann to the younger Biden’s “representatives.”
Do you think Jean-Pierre let the truth slip out when she said she “cannot” discuss the matter instead of saying she “won’t” talk about it?
