1984 before the wall came down. 300k plus US troops in Europe. What does 300k troops buy you? 30-day war buffer, back when oil started to flow freely again. How did Germany lose the Battle of the Bulge and for that matter WWII? Fuel shortages. Just a walk in the park come winter. NATO state will drop like flies....if it comes to that. Absolutely nothing the United States can do about that. European political policy has crippled the region.
In contrast Europe and Russia equals 900 million people. 76% use the term Christian or 684 million. 49% are Orthodox or 335 million. Where did the protestants come out of? The orthodox. In comparison The United States at 335 million is 76% Protestant or 256 million. Total 591 million. Relevance? Orthodoxy Christians and Protestant Christians really don't lingo well with the Roman Catholic

I personally believe the stage is set come September with whatever Reset we get for the rise of the Anti-Christ in the Old Roman Empire and the United States will withdraw from world affairs during this time. If history repeats itself. The United States stayed out of WWI 2 years and WWII 2 years.
